Marcus Delgado
Marcus works exclusively with hot lime putty and natural hydraulic lime on pre-1950s masonry. His finish coats on Victorian cornices have been documented by three state heritage registers.
Diane Kowalski
Diane trained under a Venetian plaster master in Treviso and brings that precision to high-end residential and hospitality projects. Her burnished Marmorino finish is specified by architects on three continents.
Troy Nguyen
Troy leads our commercial exterior division. He has installed EIFS systems on over 60 multi-unit residential and commercial buildings, with a zero-callback record on water infiltration.
Sandra Obi
Sandra casts and installs fibrous plaster enrichments — cornices, ceiling roses, pilasters — for heritage conservation and new-build reproduction. Her moulds are held by two state heritage contractors.

Understanding which plaster system belongs on which substrate is what separates a finish crew from a finish partner. Here's how we think about the work — in plain language, before the quote.
Heritage & Restoration
Coats
2 coat
Hot Lime Two-Coat
Lime putty scratch coat keyed to original masonry, followed by a finish coat of lime putty and washed sand. Breathable, flexible, and reversible — the only system appropriate for pre-1940s brick and stone substrates. Our crew applies it at 12–15mm total thickness, floating to a firm closed texture before the finish trowel.

Commercial Exteriors

Three-Coat Cement Stucco
Scratch, brown, and finish coats applied over metal lath or masonry. The industry benchmark for commercial exteriors: dimensional stability, impact resistance, and compatibility with elastomeric or acrylic topcoats. We specify Type S mortar for the scratch and brown, with a colour-through finish or a smooth-float ready for paint.

Energy-Performance Systems

EIFS (Exterior Insulation)
Expanded polystyrene board adhered to substrate, base coat with embedded fibreglass mesh, and a factory-coloured acrylic finish. R-value uplift of 2.5–5.0 depending on board thickness. Troy's crew holds certification with Dryvit and Parex systems. Critical detailing at penetrations and reveals is documented with photo logs for every project.

Decorative Interior Systems

Venetian & Polished Plaster
Two to four passes of marble-dust compound, each burnished to a higher sheen. Marmorino for a soft matte-to-satin depth; Lucidato for a near-glass reflectivity. Substrate prep is non-negotiable: Diane's standard requires a primed, skim-coated, and sanded drywall or plaster base before the first decorative coat goes on.
